Departmental Overview :

The department is responsible for the teaching of 1st year MBBS, BDS, BPT, BOT, BPOE, DMLT, DMRT, Clinical Psychology, BSc Nursing students. The department conducts examination and evaluation of the students enrolled in the above said courses. It is also responsible for the teaching and training of PG students (7 per Year). It undertakes embalming of unclaimed and donated bodies. Apart from the routine departmental and inter-departmental seminars, research work is conducted by the faculties and post-graduate students. The department has also conducted numerous CMEs and Conferences and participates in IAC meetings, as well as state and national conferences of Anatomical Society of India.

Lecture theatres, demonstration rooms, dissection hall, histology lab, and museum for the teaching of students; instruments and equipment’s available for embalming of dead bodies; instruments and equipment’s available for histological studies.
